Dh thought he would help me out by buying a package of assorted cheap artist brushes to use to clean out the lint in my machine. Thought he was nuts but decided to try it out. Works like a charm. Skinny handles work like a charm to get into the nicks and cranies of the machine. Flick out tons of lint so was easier to suck the crap out. So much quieter/easier than dragging the vacuum cleaner over to the table. Such a nice helper!

It works great cause the lint just jumps right onto them! I go to the dollar store and buy a set of makeup brushes. The big one I use for the outside of the machines and the skinnier ones for the insides!

I just got done doing that very thing!!! Yes, paint brushes work wonders.

I like the all-plastic-handle ones over the ones that have a metal "cuff" at the bristles, to avoid nicking the inside of the machine-works with that metal cuff.

I use artist paint brushes to clean all of my machines. They work great! Like Julie said it is so much easier than the vacuum.
