Unfortunately, these were the last panels. But I was just informed that I get a refund for two panels (two panels can be cut correctly), which seems fair.

I would think as a panel, they would send you 4 identical panels, or tell you ahead of time! I have not really worked with panels myself, but Now...I know something I didn't before. Thanks for sharing your experience. and BTW that is a lovely elegant panel!

If you DID still want more of the same fabric, here's another site:

That will make a very pretty quilt. It has been my experience that panels are sold per panel not per yard. I agree with the others, they should give you a refund. Sounds like they are trying to make it right. Hope they do so you are a happy customer.

I agree - if sold as a panel - it should look like what was pictured.

Thank you everyone for your advice and thank you MTS for the link.

I will try to work with what I have, and I will certainly show my result here on the board. I'm planning on doing a fractured quilt, so it should work with me cutting the panels and putting them together again differently in order to get the panels I wanted. It's going to need way more planning and careful thinking, though. And I fear the danger of cutting mistakes is much bigger than if I'd started out with four correct panels to begin with. But we'll see.
