Thank you all for your wonderful comments... I feel I am on the right track for creating and my colors are ok. Thanks to all of you... as my kids have put me to the test , more challenges ahead..

I love panels and the challenge of finding ways to put them together. I have two books on the subject. I fail to see the difference between fussycutting a print and sewing sashing around the fussycut and cutting around a panel and sewing sashing around that. Both require imagination, fabric and are fun. You quilt is lovely! froggyintexas

I love your quilt, I also like to work with panels - you can be so creative - and my husband enjoys picking out panels, he doesn't know too much about what matches what but picks out some beautiful panels.

I bought a panel piece like this with mountain lions on it for a friend of mine and had no idea what or how I was going to turn it into a throw. This is perfect!!!! Thanks so much for the inspiration!! By the way, I love the colors you chose.

The quilt is great. The quilt, whether a panel or patches, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You are happy with it and that is all that matters.
We all see different things and have different visions. We learn by doing and if we are satisfied when finished then it is a great quilt. Keep up the good work--you have a way with colors, patterns, and fabric. You are a quilter!!! |
