BUT I love yours and it makes me wish I had the time and patience to make one! I get too antzy even when completing the hotpads. I am ready to move on to something new before I even get done with one!

But your pansies are fantastic! I love how you did the squares in the corners! If I am going to ever get one I will probably have to buy one from someone!!
Oh well I can dream about making one!

Can't wait to see the next one!

Thanks Rhonda! I have to say, I am impatient to finish things as well, but this was the quickest quilt I've pieced! And it stays interesting as you take each little stack of triangles and see what K they make! Go on, I dare you!

I had thought of that, although I can't drop my dogs so it would have to be a REALLY gentle meander. I've never done it before though, so I thought I'd try on a practice sandwich first. You're right, hand quilting would be lost! Maybe I'll hand quilt on the red border and I had thought of outlining the pansies on the outer border.

That sounds like a plan! Did you not get the new machine you were after yet.....maybe you should just put this one away until you do  (Get started on something else I am thinking!!)

Maybe I will some day when I have more time. I have too many irons in the fire right now. And with school being out soon I will have grandkids more than 2 days a week through the summer. My youngest son and his family are moving soon and I will have the twins for acouple of days as well as my usual schedule of kids every weekend. My daughter will need me to take Zach(he's autistic) more through the summer and I have several deadlines for quilting things that have to be done. Summer is the busiest time in Kalona and I have to get back to getting that caught up!! I try to take something up every two to three weeks but it has been 4 to 6 lately. With summer that has to go back to 2 -3 weeks or she will have empty shelves.

The first week in June I have kids 5 days out of 7. Due to Scout camp and Sara's fil has to be out of the office so she has to fill in (can't have the kids in there all day) and my usual weekends with kids - 6 grandkids
under the age of 10 to fit in!

This is just going to have to go on my whenever I get time list! But I may try a smaller version. Hmmm I'm thinking maybe tote bag? Not as impressive but I wonder....... What I could do with this idea........

No, unfortunately had to put that on hold - I got a Grace Hoop in England instead, though! So still stuck with the old Toyota, although I did get a 1/4" foot and a walking foot which has made it a lot better!

You go Rhonda! I can hear the cogs whirring from here! Sounds like you've got your hand full with the kids though - you could always shut them in the oven for a bit of peace and quiet! LOL

Zach(autistic) would love that!! I am always trying to keep him out of it!It's an antique folks and not hooked up!
He loves closed in tight places- good sensory stuff! He is always trying to get behind it and under it where the space is tight and close.
