Paper piece pdf not printing the right size
I found an awesome block I would love to try that is paper pieced. I went to print it out, and the test square is not printing out the right size. I made sure the setting was print actually size, and the test square still came out to small.
Is there something I am doing wrong, or is there a way to fix this? This was the block I was attempting: https://www.gathered.how/sewing-and-...e-quilt-block/ |

Not sure if you will be able to successfully print as I've never tried printing A4 scale with letter paper in the tray. |
I just tried. In addition to "Actual Size" there was an option that I put a check mark in the box next to
" ☑ Choose paper source by PDF page size" Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. |
Are you printing from your browser, or did you download the pattern, then open it and print it from there?
Every time I print from my browser it does not print the correct size. I *always* have to save it first. |
Ditto what Peckish said. You need to “save file” to your computer, then open and print from the copy on your computer.

I don't see where there is a test square on the page. It is only in the pdf. Joan said that the test square was not the right size, so must be printing from the pdf.

The test square is in the upper left hand corner next to where is says Block of the Month.
I have had trouble with my computer/printer resizing patterns slightly. I had it do it on a pp block that I was copying from a book. I got so frustrated I finally just traced it. It was easier than spending another 1/2 hour trying to get the printer to print it accurately. |
