Does anyone know how to sew curves with the method of paper-piecing? I would be very grateful for any tips or links to study.

Paper piecing is straight lines only. You can create the illusion of a curve by doing a whole lot of small straight seams.

I saw it on one of the tv shows however the curved pieces were not flat pieces of fabric for lack of better words - she kind of folded the fabric in pleats as you curved the fabric around - does that make sense?
