DON"T WET THE PAPER> YOU will get an awful mess. I tug the block gently in a couple of different directions and the paper begins to seperate. I have used both copy paper and PP paper. I will never use copy paper again. Good luck.

I love PP. I have used every type of paper available and try all the new papers that are made for PPing and my favorite is lightweight vellum (not scrapbooking vellum). The vellum pulls away without all the tiny pieces left behind. Onion skin is excellent, the type used to print Bibles. I've tried the freezer paper method of folding on the seam line, too time consuming for me but it does eliminate the paper mess.

I've used copy paper. i place my thumb on the stitching next to where i want to tear the paper and keep moving it along as I go. helps stabilize the fabric and stitches.

I always use normal copy paper and shorten the stitch. Sometimes I use a damp cloth to press on the paper side. It comes off easily that way.
