I received some samples of quilt fabric.
they were mounted on paper. Water and Goo-Off do not work when trying to separate them. Any ideas????? Sue in OH |
Are they upholstery samples? Those are stuck on pretty severely and you may have trouble getting the all the way off.

I wonder is a warm iron would work, maybe a damp cloth and dry iron. I do know that vinegar does dissolve sticky stuff.
|
I have lots of those samples and warm water has always worked.

Throw them in the washer, paper and all. Or soak in hot water for a couple of hours. If it comes off, great...if not, well, just throw the whole mess away!! :-)

Did you try useing a blow dryer? I know that works great for getting sticky lables off of new dishes, plastic wear, ect. when I buy new. I don't know if it will help but on fabric, I would be cautious about using it because of maybe damaging the fabric, but we used to use hair spray to remove glue residue at a store I used to work at when changing label or stickers.

I microwave the individual pages for LESS THAN A MINUTE. Doesn't work on all of them, but it will on most.
|
Good luck. Never heard of fabric on paper!!
