Paris Rendezvous-Diamond Rects Template
 

I recently bought a quilt kit at a quilting show. The kit said it only needed batting and backing and since I liked the backing fabric I bought it too. I spent well over $100 for both. I opened the kit up today and found out I need 2 specialty templates! WHY wasn't that listed on the back of the kit? ( the pattern was inside the kit and the fabric was behind it so I couldn't see the back of the pattern and it was tied shut). Has anyone made the Paris Rendezvous quilt? If so, did you use the Diamond Rects Template or did you figure out how to cut them w/o it? HELP please because I really don't want to spend over $20 on this template!

I have bought patterns that didn't inform the need for a specialty ruler. Check to see if JAF has anything that you can use and wait for a 50% off sale.

Yes that's it. I must be blind because I don't see the directions to make the diamonds w/o the template..
