I think we have so many birds around, because we used to have 2 dogs outside and the birds would drink and eat from the dogs dishes. The dogs are in heaven now, but the birds still come . I think they like our trees. Our backyard is very small. We have a Duplex. They even poop on the chair cushions on our porch. But I do love to hear their chatter.

Ouch! I do remember how nice my Grandma's whites were after adding the "blueing". I also remember the day my Mom got her hand caught in the hand crank wringer too. Ohh the things we take for granted.

me too... i remember the diapers in the tub! ick!!! amazing what you can do when you don't have a choice.. i remember i would have given my eyeteeth for a wringer washer, because wringing by hand sucked!
