My daughter-in-law is wanting me to make the cloth inserts for the g-diapers. They are expensive and I understant that they can be made from microfiber and an outer layer of flannel or other fabric. I have found a pattern but for some reason (probably me) I find it hard to follow. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Could you post the link for the pattern, my daughter is wanting to do this as well, but I have not searched for anything yet, maybe between the two of us we can figure out the instructions
Thanks,
Lori

Not sure exactly what it is you're looking for, but try: bevscountrycottage.com. She has a lot of diaper patterns/instructions

Okay, if I am reading this right, the insert is 6 layers thick (terry cloth and microfibre(extra pieces) sandwiched between 2 layers of microfibre sandwiched between or enclosed in 2 layers of flannel)

I think I will rough one up and see how thick that actually makes them seems like alot of fabric, but diapers sometimes need to hold alot of moisture I guess

I don't think diapers can be too thick. IMHO.
