Hi I'm Kathy,

I've been on here a couple of years I think, but never talk. So hear I am requesting help with this pattern. Can someone tell me what it is. I know its a 6 pt star, but the over all pattern is what I'm interested in.

Thank you
Kathy

Inklingo has a pattern for that block, if you like to hand-piece.

I have a house plant that blooms the sweetest-smelling flowers, it looks like that block.

Your houseplant is a Hoya, and the blooms certainly are sweet! I received a cutting last year and I was blessed with a few blooms this year, love it!

You mean that is a real plant! It is beautiful. I thought the centers were those beads from Hobby Lobby that look like flowers, so I just assumed it was not real. Wow! I am going to have to go google this.

Yes, it's real. I have 3, taken from a cutting of my mother's plant which has to be at least 30 years old. She always called it a wax plant, the flowers are waxy in texture. They are very easy to propagate and care for, they prefer to be left alone. I LOVE when they bloom because the scent is so sweet.
