Pattern ideas needed
 

My granddaughter just got a new comforter and it is grey and peach in color. I am thinking of making a Boxed Squares pattern with grey on outside with small peach square and then a peach outside with small grey square inside and alternating these blocks. I am going to a quilt show this weekend and thought I would pick up some FQ,s of grey (which is a hard color to find.) Or---how would a log cabin pattern look? But don't know what the center square should be-light or dark peach or light or dark grey?
Everyone on the QB has been so helpful when I have a question so thought I would get some ideas from all of you members.

I like your idea for boxed squares; think it would look great in a variety of peaches and grays.

Jenny Doan has a pattern I made and it was a queen and I think you would like it. It’s on YouTube and it’s called ‘Square in a Square’. Check it out.

Lorraine, grey has gotten really popular in decorating and fabric. I don't think you'll have any trouble finding some.

Thank you SusieQOH, jcrow, and Prism99 for your support in my ideas. I was going thru some quilt books and also found a pattern called Pandoras Box which is similar to Boxed Square pattern. The only difference is that the center block is a 4 patch and that would be fun too where I could use up some of my peach fabric for kind of a scrappy look. I agree SusieQOH that grey is a very popular color this year so maybe I will get to buys lots of FQ of different greys.
