I'm looking for a pattern for a pretty off-white lap quilt to make for a wedding gift. I'd like to use a pieced or applique pattern. Any suggestions readers?

you can take most any pieced pattern and using various shades of white, cream, tone on tones, etc and make a lovely wedding quilt.

I made a log cabin years and years ago using tone on tone whites, ivories, and various lighter shades of tans.

Sorry do not have a suggestion for you, unless I think of one. The ivory tones in the log cabin or even a variation of one would be lovely, am going to watch your question and see what others offer.

Years ago I saw a quilt similar to what it sounds like you want to make. It was a log cabin using all sorts of beiges and off-whites in a variety of silks and satins with lace inserted in various places. It was gorgeous.
