Pattern for a log cabin xmas tree, but...

This is made with log cabin block, but it has depth to it . The strips are folded, but not sure if this in halve just 1/3 . I look but I couldn't figure it out. Anyone ever see this pattern and where I can get it? Thanks for any feed back. Hope thanksgiving was a blessed one for all.

I don't have a christmas tree pattern but I found this link that talks about the strips. Apparently they are just folded in half. On my list to do though!
