The shapes remind me of the Clamshell pattern. The Clamshell pattern has solid pieces though without the segments? I think it may be an original adaptation?

Looks sort of like a fan quilt...but all the pieces are not the same shape...I hope you can find the pattern!

Looks like a variation of a clam shell. The shells just aren't stacked on top of each other.

Don't know the name but if you find out and where we can purchase let me know.

That is one beautiful quilt. No wonder everyone loves it. I do too.

It reminds me of a gingko leaf, but they are a solid color and kind of ruffled along the top edge.

I hope someone knows. It sure is beautiful.

Sorry I don't know either. Just wanted to say how beautiful the quilt is!

quiltingcandy 09-08-2012 09:35 AM

Wow, I would definitely call it an original pieced clam shell. Where did you find this picture?

The quilt itself is a mass produced commercial quilt sold all over the country through specialty retail outlets like the one linked below. I doubt that it is US made although it is US distributed. The company is Ko & Co., Inc. dba Elegant Decor of Norcross, GA.

They are not very likely to share the pattern details, imho. Does anyone else find it odd that they promote the quilt on the wrong size bed?
