Pattern Perfect or Groovy Boards

Has anyone used either Pattern Perfect from the Grace Company or Groovy Boards from R&S Designs? I am considering purchasing but want some input from actual users. Thanks!

I only used Groovy Boards once on my very first training on a LA. They were pretty easy to use and also pretty expensive. You have to buy enough boards to fit the entire length of your rack. I believe circle lord is the same idea. A stylus attaches to your machine and fits in the groove routed into the board and you simply guide the machine to follow the groove in the board. I am not familiar with the other brand you mention.

I have one groovy board from R&S. It worked well. It was a 10" square board that I moved down my table and set in place with the needle in the center of each 10" square on my quilt and the stylus in the center of the board. It is a lightweight material but sturdy enough unlike the larger groovy boards that came with my machine. As a matter of fact, the Fedex guy left the package leaning against the garage door. My husband backed over it and there was no damage.

Thanks for all the good advice. I have decided to go with R&S Groovy Boards for two reasons. One, because they are cheaper and two, because I prefer to support a 'cottage' industry.
