And suggestions
just got it today, any suggestions from owners. Any quirks or tricks you've found helpful. What software do you use, price and where To get it . Thanks |
Can't wait to see what pops up here! This is the machine I will be purchasing soon!

I have had one for 3yrs & really like it. Have a little trouble getting the hoop on sometimes & pic on screen are sometimes hard to figure out. Embroiderys very well & instruction are pretty odd. I like the USP port & can use Vikant card also. I had white 400 which used the cards but only 4x4. It tells you when bobbin is about to run out, cuts the thread & has needle threader. For the price with USB port I think they are good buy. Mine was a refurbished on at that.

I paix abit extra got a 1-1/2", 4" x4", 5" x 7" &5"x10" hoop. 80 spools (large)of thread. Sock and hat hoop, a gross of prewound bobbins two good prs scissors six more spools of thread and a mess of backing. All totalled with tax $1042.00
the mac alone was $750. What software should i get????? |
I'm thinking of getting this machine, also. I'm not sure what you need software for? Shows how little I know!
|
Lady in store said you anadd name sa Nd zuch and resize better.
|
You shouldn't need software unless you want to split or modify designs. I haven't used mine yet really 500 dollars wasted IMHO if i had to do it over I would have waited on the software
|
Didnt buy software yet.
I guess she figured i was a professional embroiderer for yrs, i wouldnt behapoy without it. She said to wait and come back for it, try the machine first. |
I paid $300 for software, and don't use it. It's too complicated. I get most of my embroidery designs from EmbLibrary.com or designsbysick.com (I bought a lifetime membership to this site, and can get all designs for free). Embroidery Library has sales all the time, and their designs are beautiful.
I hope you love your embroidery machine as much as I love my Janome 350! |
