Peaceful Retreat Wall Hanging

1 Attachment(s)
This is only my third third wall hanging and the first two I framed for my family. But I posted a picture of this one on Facebook and was surprised that a few people want to buy it. Problem is I don't really know how to make it hang without a frame?? Tab's? Should whatever makes it hang be hidden or showing?
And I don't have a clue about how to price these things?

It is 42" X 32" if that makes a difference in how I would hang it?

Search on the web for a tutorial on making a hanging sleeve that you like. There are some on the forum here. http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...ve-t12269.html

A hanging sleeve is easy to do and will do the job beautifully!

That is beautiful. Is it a PP quilt?

It's gorgeous! I can see why someone would want to buy it!

Thanks! A hanging sleeve sounds perfect and the how-to link shows it's simple to do. Thanks again.
And I don't know what you mean by a PP quilt?

Very pretty wall hanging. Pricing pretty much depends on (1) how much it cost you to make it, (2) whether you want to sell it, and (3) how much you like the person who wants to buy it. If you want to sell as a business, to make a profit, figure out the cost of the materials and the time it took you to make, figure an hourly salary that satisfies you, and then see if the buyer is interested in that price. If you just want to re-coup the cost of the materials, that's fine too.

PP means paper pieced.

Beautiful wallhanging. Love the scenery and animals.

Thank you all. I guess it's paper pieced? I drew out the basic picture on the computer and had Staples print it out to the size I wanted and then traced it onto freezer paper to cut out the pieces.

I'm guessing it's appliquéd & not paper pieced, and glad you found the sleeve tute helpful.
