help please would like ideas on how to personize my quilts

Not sure what you mean by "personalize"

Collect fat quarters of fabrics with a theme relating to the person's interests:
i.e. animals, travel, sports, gardening, etc. Make wallhanging or lap quilt and
you won't have a fortune invested.

Quilt names or favorite things on the quilt too.
