Pfaff Quilt Artist
 

My Quilt Artist is frozen at creating the quilt area. The screen that tells you to take the machine to the left corner and hit the + key. When you hit the key the screen is suppose to say go to the right corner but it does not move to the next prompt. I hope someone can shed some light on this issue. This Quilt Artist cost me $6600.00 and it has not been used that much. Also, if someone knows of a good repair shop or where I can purchase a new one cheaper. Thanks for the info!

Where are you located? There is a Pfaff dealer in Melbourne, FL, that is excellent. I don't have the Quilt Artist so can't really help with that bit. Good luck. Aggravating to have something not work as it should. Are there any YouTubes for the Quilt Artist? Just trying to think of options. Welcome to the Board.

Check on Facebook for the Viking/Pfaff user group. You should be able to find some help there. There is usually at least 1-2 dealers that monitor the page and can walk you through fixing this.

Have you tried calling Nova on Wellington Road? They are a Pfaff dealer, I believe.
Short of that, have you tried turning it off, waiting a few seconds and turning it back on? Sort of a hard re-boot?
Just a suggestion, I don't have any experience with that particular machine.
Let us know how it goes.

I used to deal with that store but not anymore. my dealer has phoned and left messages but Pfaff is not responding. I have tried removing the SD card, unplugging power etc but to no avail.

Well it is the USA Thanksgiving and no call back to my dealer from Pfaff. I have 9 quilts to get done before Christmas`, my dealer said there is nothing she can do. Ask me if I would ever recommend Pfaff.
