Could you elaborate on that? I take great care with threading thinking I might be doing something wrong. But I'm quite sure by now that I do everything correctly.

The thread tension disc on the upper left of the machine......make sure the thread is under the little arm, not on top of it. Check your manual and follow it precisely. Worked for me.

Thank you for the explanation. I wasn't sure if you meant this, but I'm already doing this correctly. At the moment I can still use my machine for piecing - after having fiddled with the bobbin tension - the stitches don't look great but they hold firmly. I'll bring it to the dealer next week before I'm off on a two week holiday.

Hi,
I am interested in buying the Expression 3.0 for FMQ. Just wanted to know if you FMQ on yours, what is your experience with it and how long ago you bought it. Some are saying that the later models have had some of the problems taken care of. Thanks ahead for your help. Have a Blessed Day!

Hi,
I see you have a Expression 3.0, which I am considering buying for FMQ. Would like to know if you FMQ and what you consider the pros and cons of your machine. Would really appreciate any info. you could give me, as purchasing a new machine now days seems to be a "luck of the draw". So many are made in Asia and seems to be a lot of lemons.
Thanks again and have a blessed day.

I've been trawling the web for a solution to the top thread tension problem on the Expression 4, my machine is under a year old and has suddenly gone haywire... Anyone got any suggestions?

just broken the foot on my old Bernina too.........Dear Santa......

I have the Pfaff 2.0 and love it. No problems at all. I am working at a LQS that sells Pfaff. The owner explained how Pfaff did not plan accordingly for the economic downturn and it really hurt the company and the product. With the release of the Pfaff Sensation the company is working to improve their image and come back to the company we all know and love. Since I am working at the shop I did purchase a brand new Pfaff 4.0 and cannot wait to get it. Good luck!

I have the 2.0 also, and I love mine. I got it two Christmases ago and have been quilting on it full steam ever since. Sunflower126, if you have made a dozen quilts since Sept.....WOW!! You are a Serial Quilter....which is not a bad thing. I even have a tee shirt that says that!!
