I bought a NEW Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.0 today!!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!!
Sure beats the simplicity......

I've had mine for a couple of years and it's my favorite (out of several machines).

Did you take a class? I had some one-on-one lessons at the sewing machine shop AND took a group class before I got to love it tho.

just had a two hour tutorial with store owner. Made me watch, then do.... most stuff from threading to free motion quilting. Will take the class when I can fit it into my schedule!

I have expression 2. and love it. The 4. has got to be even better. Congratulations!!

I bought one in November and it's being sent back to Pfaff via the shop owner :hunf:

Everything was fine until I tried to FMQ and the bobbin broke a few times. It also started skipping stitches. Did all the usual things until finally I took it back to the shop I bought it from and she had the same problems. She tried a few recommendations the technician made by phone to no avail so off it went. Here's hoping I'm not going to be continually beset with problems........... :(

Knitette, I hope yours is back and BETTER than new soon. That would really irritate me......... 1st time I've ever spent so much money on something and not been able to live in it or drive it!!! LOL

Congratulations! I had that machine and loved it. I decided to upgrade to a machine that also does embroidery, but often wish I'd kept that machine as a back up.
