Pheonix Area Sewing Machine Repair help

Does anyone know of a local dealer that fixes HV machines in the Mesa, Phoenix area? I have an HV Designer SE sewing machine that is having problems turning on. When I press the on switch the buttons just flash. I am guess it may be a circuit board or something. I called the local Joan Viking store and was told that it would take a min. of six weeks to get fixed. They send all their machines to one store in Glendale. I called and was told they are backed up with repairs. My daughter is arriving tomorrow and she sews for extra $. Any ideas are appreciated.

Did you try mulqueens sew and vac on Main st. In Mesa. I was in Mesa last March and stopped in there quite often. They have a lot of brands but I'm not sure about HV. They also do a lot of repairs as I saw a couple of shelves full of repair items.

There is also a Mulqueens at 59th Avenue and Northern Avenue on the west side. They do a lot of repairs. If that area is closer to you. Don't know about HV or backup on repairs.

Thank's to both of you. I will give them a call when they open today. There is one in East Mesa, not too far from the house.

I have an independent repair man if you want someone different. He is closer to downtown Phoenix, but he babies my machine! PM if you want his name and phone number.

I take mine over to a retired machine repair woman and wait while she fixes my machine. If you PM me I'll forward her info and you can call her. I think she lives in Gilbert.

I like that I have the same day turn around rather than the 3-6 weeks I'd get at a repair place.

Thank you all. I should have been more patient. I took it to Mulqueens. Their HV person is out till Sat. But they did say, baring needing parts, it would be ready in two weeks from today. So still much faster than the Joann's repair shop.

If you don't find a place up there and you can come down to Tucson there is a GREAT store, called Catheys they have 2 locations and the make any repair and do it right the first time!! I have teh HV Designer SE and other machines and have always been happy with the service & the price
