Is there a product to prepare fabric other than Bubble Jet Set 2000? Is there another way to treat fabric for printing? Thanks

There is a long thread here about printing on fabric. Many different methods. I believe some use freezer paper to back the cloth.

I thought we had to "treat" our piece of fabric before ironing it to the freezer paper. Is this not so? Thanks for your reply. 80

I have never treated my fabric before pressing fabric to freezer paper. The wax on the paper 'sticks' to the fabric when pressed with hot iron. The treatment is for the ink to set in the fabric.

You may have better luck washing the fabric, rinsing well, (no fabric softeners) dry and then treat with Bubble Jet. This prepares the fabric to accept the dye better.
Press the fabric well, iron the freezer paper to the fabric, and cut to fit in the printer.
After printing, treating the fabric again helps to set the dyes :D:D:D
