Wow, love the lighting!

WOW is right. Amazing the difference in the lighting. That is why I keep telling members of this board when looking at a new DSM, test drive it.

I know what you mean about lighting. I love my Bernina 440 but, to get enough light, I have an Ott-lite immediately behind it to really get light to work area. Can't get enough light!

Thanks for sharing about the veering off to the left.....I thought it was just me with my machine. I have a older Singer but get very irritated with it when piecing long stripes together I feel like I have such an on going battle I can never sew a straight seam to save my life. Love your new Beautiful machine. Thank you for sharing that as well. Make me want yo start looking for a new machine for myself too.

I could never understand how the top name quilters on their blog videos and youtube could sew a long seam and zip along so quickly and barely holding onto the fabric. For me and the Espire I had to hold the fabric very firmly and angle it back to the right pretty strongly.

I am so glad you siad that. I thought i was the only one who had fabric veering off to the left or right. I don't know whay it does that. drives me crazy
