If you purchase the fabric sheets to run through your printer, be sure to get the ones that are NOT Dry Clean Only. Ask me how I know? The regular ones work great, and they have good directions on the back of the package. I can't remember the brand name, but I bought them at JoAnn's.

I want to thank everyone for their input on my question of putting pictures on quilts.
I solved my own problem. I already have transfer paper, but I am never satisfied with the results. So I took a letter-sized piece of freezer paper and ironed on a piece of white muslin. Put it in my printer fabric side down. Set the Quality at best. Printed my picture. It came out just as clear as the original. I let it dry over night. removed the paper and pressed it with an iron in hopes it would set the colors even more. I am not sure if the colors would hold under laundry conditions like transfer paper, but this quilt will not be washed I am sure. In the picture of the finished block, the picture is much clearer in real life. my finished block |
