picture to fabric
I have a idea in my head but I cannot figure out how to make it. I want to take a picture of something and make it larger (maybe a 12x14 size) then transfer it to fabric. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

I had pics printed on fabric at a t-shirt printing place. They can size your picture for you. I took in the fabric I wanted it printed on. It turned out nice and holds up great over time

Spoonflower will do that for you.
You can pick size and type of fabric and they are pretty fast. Watson |
I was also going to suggest Spoonflower. You can print as small as a fat quarter.

Due sublimation is getting popular if you’re looking to do it yourself. Otherwise, Spoonflower like others suggested or you can have someone on Etsy do the dye sub for you.

To do this yourself you need to treat fabric first with something like Bubble Jet Set, but a home printer won't print that large I don't think. I use A4 copy paper sizes. You can also buy pre-treated fabrics for this.

Spoonflower.com is my fav. I've made a photo quilt for my mom and plan to make a quilt for each daughter from their art class pictures.
