Pieced Heart Pattern - any suggestions?
I would like to make a small wall hanging for Valentine's Day. My preference would be something pieced. Does anyone have any great suggestions?

Here is a link to a "Patchy Heart" block http://www.quilterscache.com/P/PatchyHeartBlock.html

Ditto ... that's a good one.
I did a wall hanging last year ... found the pattern simply by asking Mr. Google. Found lots of possibilities and then had to make a decision. Sorry ... I didn't keep the links ... though you'll find them fast enough, I'm sure! |
I have a pattern at home you might like. Give me your email address and I'll scan it to you tomorrow.

The Quilter's Cache heart is an upright or straight-set block.
This one is meant to be set on point, a technique that makes almost any quilt more interesting. I have figured it for a 9.5" finished block but it can be adjusted easily. I'd suggest making your changes in scraps first so that you can adjust your snowball squares in small increments to keep the heart rounded and pretty. Jan in VA |
Or you could put the Quilter's Cache ♥ on point by adding triangles to the corners and change the orientation.

I was just searching for something too: here is one that I found, you could just do one square
