Pigeon Forge quiltfest

Y'all have me so revved up looking at all the beautiful quilts on QB that I booked a room in TN to go to this quiltfest! I'm spending way more money than I should on books, material, hotel rooms, machines, walking feet, etc......and getting very little quilting done. :p oh my.......

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done this!

No, you are definitely not alone. Three of us are planning on going Hands All Around quiltfest in Amherst on April 6th It's close enough so we don't have to stay overnight, but we will make a whole day of it. We'll shop till we drop or till we have emptied our wallets. Love, love, love quilt shows!!!

When is the Pigeon Forge Quilt Fest? We only live about 90 minutes away and I would love to go!

March 12-16th. Has anyone attended this fest? I would love to know more about it. The site looks like it is mostly classes. I want to see quilts and check out the vendors.

The Pigeon Forge Quiltfest sounds so great, I would love to go but it's to far away. But I am going someday.

I'm going too! We live less than 2 hours away and I look forward to it every year. Lots of quilts, lots of inspiration and lots of vendors!!!

Hope everyone enjoyed Mountain Quiltfest. If not, you should be able to see some of the award winning quilts at www.MountainQuiltfest.com (although it's still showing 2012 winners right now). I saw one of the women whose quilt had won a prize. She didn't know until she walked in and saw the ribbon. She started to cry (and then all of us around her started to cry). It's a great show in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. We've already booked our cabin for next year :) We'll see y'all then!
