Pillow Cases into Jelly Rolls
 

I just turned several pillow cases into these 2.5" strips. I have enough for a nice strip lap quilt. Purchased the pillow cases for 50 cents each at thrift stores.

I cut the strips with a Big Shot Pro and 2.5" dies.

I cut off the hem but leave the seams because the Big Shot cuts off the seams for me.

Good find, good idea....never find any good stuff at our thrift stores....someone must beat me to it!

I just got a Big Shot. Can't wait to use it for some serious cutting for a bargello!

great idea. Could do sew on wrong sized sheets too.
