This has become my favorite tutorial for pillowcases:
http://www.filminthefridge.com/2010/...case-tutorial/ Easy to understand and lots of pictures for the person who loves visuals. I have made about a dozen using this tutorial. :-) |
At your request ....

Did you try Missouri Star Quilt Co? They have a tutorial on Youtube. The roll method.
|
That is a good tutorial & keeps the seam hidden. I also like the tut on the Missouri Quilt youtube video.
|
I use the Missouri Star quilt Co "roll" or "tube" method as well or this tutorial which is the same method http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j06WzmN7KI&feature=fvw
they both work great since I don't have a serger. |

I love the Missouri Quilt company method. I made already 14 pillowcases for Christmas presents. I like to get an early start.
Here are just a few of mine. for a little girl who has braincancer and loves spongebob |
Are y'all making these pillow cases out of 100% cotton and then ironing them each time, or are you using poly/cotton?
I haven't ironed an everyday pillowcase in years, only the ones on the guest beds and my memory just completely fails me as to the last sheet I ironed. Not since they started selling ones with poly in them - about the time I quit always washing and starching on Mondays and ironing on Tuesdays. |
