I just made the pillow cases on the Missouri Quilt Company tutorial - oh my - how easy and cute. The 27 inches she recommends for the cases is bigger than my kids pillows but they will still be surprised when they come home today to all new pillow cases.

I love to make pillow cases too! Something so simple is always so appreciated!

I love making them and always seem to find some "focus" fabric that catches my eye and end up buying more stash to make them. LOL

I just finished using the same method to create a top sheet - wanted to see if it works....I don't have enough material to do one for each kid so I may be in trouble when they come home from school!

I have made a lot of these pillow cases but I cut my fabric 22 inches instead of the 27 inches. They are easy to do.

Selecting the fabric is as much fun as making the pillowcases.
If they are too long for your pillows, it would only take a minute to shorten them.

Definitely the best tutorial on pillow cases - thanks so much for sharing! I love the Missouri Star Quilt Co. It's one of my favorite tutorial sites for both quilting and sewing projects, but somehow I missed this one. If anyone wants to check out their site and their other tutorials, here's the link . . .

Isn't it nice? I have made a few like that as well. Grandkids love them.
