I live in a small cottage and quilt in my caravan when I go travelling. Both of these have very small floor spaces. I use the method mentioned above it is great.
I also tend to do quilt as you go so I only use small squares to sandwich at a time. Problem comes when joining them all but done it sections even makes that possible the final long seam is the biggest and heaviest problem.
I must admit I use 505 to do my blocks sometimes. .

What material are you using for the boards?

I can baste a king size on a card table.

Have you considered using Elmer's washable school glue? If you use the search function you will get lots of good info. I think there are some tutorials too.

I also live in an RV. My last quilt (a Queen size) was done on my small dining room table. When it was time to sandwich it I found the RV Park we are staying at has a blank wall on their big tool shed. I used push-pins to hang the backing, spray basted that, then hung the batting. It smoothed out beautifully ! Sprayed that and hung the top with more push-pins...it was so easy to quilt without the worry of pinning. Where there's a will...

HOW, pretty please??? Is that the method of using skewers tape to the table for centering the components, then clamping all to the table edges?
Thank you in advance for any tips.

Sharon Schambers video on rolling on wood and pinning or glueing is great. I use this methods in my caravan which does have a long table . I have been known to put the table up outside and cut or baste in t he sun.
