Has anyone used the "pinking" blade for the rotary cutter? they are available for both fiskar and olfa. I'm considering one and wanted to know if they create a nice edge? thanks

I use a pinking blade on fabric before I wash it. It keep the fabric from fraying in the washer and dryer. I love it. I used to use pinking shears but the blade is much easier on the hands.

I used one to edge scarfs (hmm, scarves???) I had made for grandchildren at Christmas. They came out fine and looked better than just a straight edge (they were fleece). I've had it for years, and just decided to use it this year.

I got the pinking rotary cutter blade and it isn't sharp enough to cut through fabric. I have to go over the same area 2-3 times to get it to cut. Am I doing something wrong?

i have a couple of the olfa blades - pinking and scallop

we really like using them when we donate fleece blankets to the baby shelter. all you do is roll, roll, roll around the edges and you're done. we just bought extras last time they were 50% off.
