what is a good brand name of pinking shears not are reasonable price???

I have Kai pinking shears, very good quality, not sure what you consider a reasonable price. I really don't use them very often.

Personally I have very rarely used pinking shears, and not for very long, give me a good pair of scissors or a rotary cutter any time over pinking shears, so can't really give you any advice on which brand, but I do have a question. Why do you want a pair of pinking shears?

Wallmart has reasonably priced pinking shears.

I use pinking shears to pink the edges of fabric before washing it. It helps prevent excess fraying and it also makes it easy to tell if the fabric has already been prewashed.

That being said, if I have a lot of fabric to pink, I get out my old non-self-healing cutting mat and use a pinking blade in the rotary cutter.

Beware! The rotary cutter pinking blade will tear up your mat: using an old mat and especially an old hard mat will save you money and time. :)

I do the same thing including using an old mat with the pinking blade.

i love my pinking shears. i waited for YEARS to buy them and finally found them on sale at fabricland for $9.99.

i think they were mistagged. i bought them anyway.

i use them a lot in dressmaking, but not so much for quilting.

I bought my pinking shears over 30 years ago. They are a good quality pair and I guard them carefully. My husband is under the threat of death if he uses them for anything. I use the pinking shears to trim around circles. But used to do a lot of garment sewing.

Mine are Gingher...have had them for 30 years and they are as good as the day I bought them...have the dressmaker shears also by Gingher...can't beat them and you can catch them on sale at Hancocks fabrics..or maybe Joann's...

I have Gingher pinking shears. I don't use them very often, but I've gotten a couple of tips from this thread!

I have a pair of Fiskars and a pair of Gingher pinking shears. I hate the Fiskars. They're heavy and too big for my hands and just aren't that great. The Gingers are just a bit smaller and I think they actually weigh less and cut beautiful.
