I agree completely; I would take it as a compliment too.

I do Pinterest and one time, I posted a picture of a Robin. Was sent a not it was copyrighted and they wanted $50 for posting it. I took it down, and never heard another word.

Replying is the ONLY thing they can't do without being logged in. They can read everything, and they can copy/download pictures. I agree with Cindi - this is one of the reasons I very rarely post any pictures. I'm not allowed to put a copyright on my own photos, and the QB does not disable copying or downloading of pictures.

That is a great question. I am sure more people can read them other than those we PM it to.

If you put it on the internet, I think it would be silly to be mad if someone pinned it. The internet is public.

Personally, I would be shocked, but pleased to see something of mine pinned. Unless it was pinned on a page titled "Ugly Quilts". That might bug me a bit.

I also don't mind people pinning as long as I get credit for the photo. I just had a thread deleted from here last night because I had watermarked my photos. Didn't know we couldn't do that. I won't post any photos here any longer either....

No, PM's (private messages) are private. Only you can look at your quilting board mailbox.

When I was on face book, not anymore, Lots of my postings on here were listed on there. Whatever I post on here I would say anyway. Believe me I never say everything I would like to say. I only do that when posting on pictures, only good things.
