Does anyone have an old placemat pattern where you cut 4 fabrics in the same way & then shuffle the pieces around to make 4 designs? Sunset magazine, 1970's?
|
No but I think it would be fairly simple . Take the four fabrics stack them on top of each other.. cut ... take your 4 piles leave the first one as is.. take the second pile take top fabric. move to bottom... third pile move top two fabrics to bottom... fourth pile move 3 fabrics to the bottom
Does that make sense ? |
Yes, but my pattern had some triangles & rectangles . I have to see if I have an old one around. Made them as gifts one year!

Make up your own pattern with the old one in mind, then it is truly Dotty's design.

I just cannot believe how big that beautiful horse is and how brave you are to stand with your back turned to it  |
Not sure I have seen that one. Show us when your done.

Standing beside the horse you know would not normally be a scary thing - standing near or behind a horse's back legs is the dangerous place to be - I don't own a horse but have known of children being kicked and hurt that way

Here's the pattern if you are still looking for it -
