Plaid Quilt Pattern

I remember seeing a picture of a quilt a while ago that by the position of the blocks looks like plaid. I've just searched it with no luck :( I remember it being only a picture, not a pattern, that used 2" or so sized blocks to create this pattern. Does anyone have a picture of this quilt or similar or know where I could find one?

Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr have a book called Transparency Quilts in which there are several patterns that look like plaids. I've made several of their quilts, and I love them.

I had posted a pic of Clarkson's Crossing from McCall's Quilting. I don't remember which issue it was, but I can try to find it if this is the one you're referring to.

http://images.homespunhearth.com/des...ouse/06001.jpgCould this be what you're looking for? The pattern can be found at homespunhearth.com. Or you can Google "free plaid quilt patterns" and you'll find several images of what you're looking for. Good luck!

Here are some pictures of a very simple one I did a few years ago. The different sections are layered as you go. These are flannel.

I am actually using the pattern from modabakeshop. I pattern calls for jelly roll. We'll I had Christmas fabric that I wanted to use so I cut strips 2.5 inches. At first when I read the pattern I thought it might be time consuming but once I started to piece, it is going together very quickly.

Perhaps what you are looking for is Weaver Fever. I have made one (don't have a picture) and it is not "easy" as it takes planning ahead, but it is beautiful when finished.

Forgot to mention that I first saw it on Fons and Porter.

Wayne Kollingger is amazing as a designer of quilts.
He is prolific in turning out variations of many quilt blocks.
See his "Playing with Blocks - Nine Patch" which looks like plaid at this web address:

I love this one!

Could it be the "Leftovers" by Modern Relish pattern? I just bought that to make it and it has a plaid look to it.
