I went with my husband today to a car show/craft show at a local church. One of the items (which they were raffling off) was a quilt made entirely of plaid material. It was done in the log cabin pattern. WOW! was that ever pretty! I would have never put ALL plaids in a quilt, but it was really nice! Reds, yellows and greens - with a plaid green backing. I bought tickets for the raffle, but didn't get called so guess I didn't win. I wish I had been able to take a picture, but I forgot my camera!
Have you ever thought of using ONLY plaid material in a log cabin design?

I've seen all plaids in a Bear's Paw quilt, and also all plaids in a tumbler quilt. Both were lovely! I'm sure that the log cabin quilt was very pretty in plaid also.

I love plaids and have made several quilts using them but I have one on my TODO list now that is a beauty. Oh I hope I live long enough to make a dent in that list.

I did a cat quilt in all homespuns which were mostly plaids (a few stripes in the mix). Here is a link to a picture of it. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-22342-1.htm

I backed it in a plaid flannel
