Does anyone know where I can order online some plastic rings about 1" wide for sewing to the backs of small wall hanging quilts for hangers? I can't find them anywhere.

I use to see them with drapery and curtain notions.

you should be able to buy them at Wal-Mart Hancocks or Hobby Lobby.
They are Susan Bates® Luxite® Bone Rings

I have seen them at my Hancock fabric store.

I think walmart has them or you can get them where they sell yarn. I used to crochet around them to make coasters.

For my wallhanging quilts, I sew a sleeve on them using either some backing fabric or some other fabric that I have on hand. The last one I made, the back was blue and the sleeve was a marbled purple with a trip around the world quilt on the front. The receipient loved it and said the sleeve on the back was great b/c now his wife doesn't have to firgure out how to hang it. Just a suggestion.
