Hello everyone,
I could not wait until I went on vacation, then I got the worst sinus congestion ever. However I could not get the thought out of my head about the tube. I did not have and two dark color and one lighter 4 inch wide. So I started palying round I took two 2 1/2' and sew them together and took to more and sew them together. Then I press and sew them together to make a tube. And when I cut my square. It was amazing. I hope that I will have enough fabric to make a large quilt from it. I have to say you guys gave me the confidence to try. You so easy share your time and knowledge. l :-P

Aren't they fun?

Bevanger 12-26-2009 11:01 AM

I'm itching to try it.

sewmuchmore 12-26-2009 11:02 AM

It was a lot of fun and something I could do that do not cause any pain. I love color but not very good at putting them together. I was happy to see that they look ok.

Would someone explain from the beginning how to make these tubes? Or is there a tutorial on here about how to make these? Thank you so much for any help.

This was so much fun :-P However I did use left over 2 1/2 inch strips. I did learn alot from this. And most of my points were perfect. But I have to confess, there were some that did not meet. But it will be a nice gift any way. Now I need your help! I am not sure what color of a border should I use?

quiltnut4ever 12-30-2009 04:38 PM

Sewmuchmore that came out beautiful!!! I'm not a very color coordinated person but whatever border you choose this quilt is gorgeous!
