Hello, I am trying to identify these little pants to a complete quilting pattern. I can't seem to find anything online that resemble these 2 piece orphans ( I think they were pants, dungarees or overalls?).
Over all measure 5" tall by 6" across. Thank you in advance for looking.

OH maybe they belong to Overall Sam. usually put with SunBonnet Sue.

I was thinking the same thing.

Look up Little Boy Britches Quilt pattern. I think that is what these are for

I also think they may be Little Boy Bitches quilt block pieces.

Thank you, Tartan. I was sure it wasn't Overhaul Sam aka Overall Bill as those use more rounded applique shapes. That sure looks like what those pieces would be used for. I found a link about the block at http://grandmotherschoice.blogspot.c...ss-reform.html
You have to scroll down about half way before you get to the pattern and the other pieces needed. (Look at all those inset seams.)https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/eek.png

i was thinking they could be put together like a dresden plate?

Very interesting indeed! I have never seen this pattern before and I went to the link and was amazed about the history that goes with the block. This is not a block I would be interested in making. There are to many inset seams.. Nice idea though. This is something to work up on EQ8.

I immediately thought of Dresden plate. The pieces don't remind me of OverAll Bill, etc., but much to my dismay, I don't know everything!

Fun "board shorts" whatever they may be!

How many are in a set? Looks like more than one and so I'm wondering if they do go around in a circle or not. That would be appliqued to a background with a circle applique in the center.
