I'm having a senior blonde moment (so senior that I posted on the picture forum!) and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to make bias binding.
Please tell me that I need to start with a square...... please.... now what??? I made some a few months ago, but I cannot remember how I did it.... Please help me - I'm up to applying the binding on my wall hanging that I started today - I'd really like to have this finished in a couple of hours... thanking you in advance bronny perplexed in pakenham |
hi, Are you binding a quilt or eed bias for something else... the only time you ever need to use bias to bind a quilt is if the edge is scalloped or curved corners....

I'm binding a wall hanging - I just want to make bias binding and finish this small project.
I'm a cross stitcher - not a quilter - I've just fallen into the dark side and as it is now 9:45pm on sunday - it's too late to phone my girlfriend to ask her what it is that I did last time!!!!! You're my only hope Obi-Wan! bronny |
I'm making one that is for a square quilt, but am using a stripe that I want to be on the diagonal. The directions I am using are very clear; you can find them here: http://pir8.freeservers.com/quilting/CBT/
