Hello

I am so glad that I found this forum but after hours and hours of reading I still have tons of questions. I also have problems with the search function, maybe i just use the wrong terms.

I found a lot of online shops but can you please advice me on the "perfect" one for me:
ship internationally and with realistic big pictures of the fabric. All these great jelly rolls and fat quaters packs and I cant see the single prints!?
The price are fabulous.........in switzerland I have hardly shops and as a non EU member I have to pay at least 20$ shipping from neighburing Germany! A moda jelly roll costs 60$ and each meter of fabric (just 10% more than a yard) starts at 17, 18 $. Designer like Hoffmann (just love it) 22$ and up.

As I was not able to get the jasmin heirloom hoop (at least that thing brought me hear  ) I would like to have a Grace floor stand hoop. Where should I order that?

And how many fat quaters do I need for a 100" x 100" blanket? I can think it depends on the design. I found this great tutorial about this twist and turn D9 here.

Will be gratefull for any advise and I am affraid that I will have develop physical problems if I cant place an order soon

Have you looked at eBay for international ordering? I know lots of US sellers offer international shipping and there are also lots of vendors overseas that sell fabric.

Good luck, I know those shipping costs are terrible, just in the US. Hope you find something soon!

I know that some here in the states will order for those abroad and then send. Most pay by Paypal for the orders. Don't know if the shipping is less or not. But when we can get it for maybe 1/2 of what you are paying, it could work out better for you in the long run.
I'd volunteer to help you, but being on a pebble, it sometimes takes me 2-3 weeks for a delivery. Plus, I'm getting ready to pack out and move.
I'm sure someone might step up and help.

Oh no..........I dont need anybody ordering for me. I just quoted the price I have to pay in Switzerland and Germany to make you understand that I dont care about 40$ shipping cost.
For some reason I dont like eBay and I would like to be able to pay with visa.

I dont know about overseas shipping but one of the biggest online fabric stores is Hancocks of Paducah.

My favorite store is Fabric Depot in Portland, Oregon.

They have fabric and lots more.
They ship internationally and will let you know the shipping cost before you place the order.

They also have great and frequent sales.

Ok, it's just an option I was putting out there for you.
I totally understand about shipping costs. I live on Guam and even tho it's part of the US (it's a Territory), we get US Mail, but there are some stores that don't believe me and want to charge me international rates.

If you like a certain manufacturer, go to their website to look at the whole line.
Also some times you can look at the whole line somewhere on the stores site.
