Yay Ps 150! I missed that detail the first time I attached my walking foot. Yepper, you must get that lever/fork over the top of the screw or it won't work properly. It's an easy fix! Such talent and help on this board.

lol chele, luckily my cousin has been quilting for a few yrs and has helped me learn to thread a bobbi...umm.. I mean attach a feed foot lol

Although, I do have one other question if anyone can help...My machine comes with an edge/quilting guide...I know what its for and how the bar looks on the fabric..But, does anyone know what this attaches to?..That same screw? ( would love to impress my cousin lol)

We'll yell with you! Quilting is intimidating enough and then to fit your machine with the wrong foot?! You're going to laugh at how smoothly it goes once you get the right tool. Props to you for persevering and solving the problem. I might have moved on to stamp collecting! LOL!

I don't know about your particular machine. My edge guide hooks right onto the walking foot. =/ Does your manual show a picture of it's setup?

No it has no pic but, I'll definitely go check out my walking foot..Thanks!

Really sounds like you have the wrong walking foot. The shank is the all important factor when buying a walking foot if you are not buying it directly from a Singer dealer. (There are universal walking feet that will fit your machine... based on your machine's shank.) So, if you bought a WF that doesn't match your machine's shank, you will have problems.

Unsure of what your machine shank is, and want to check to see if the foot you bought matches the shank of your machine? Here's a link to a free PDF download on how to determine the shank your machine.... the PDF link is at the bottom of this website:

Good luck!

I have a singer that is about 12-14 yrs old and went to Joanns a few mo. ago and bought the same to feet. They work fine and my singer is fine as well. Sometimes they just make a mistake. I would sure take them back and see if they have the right ones. Happy sewing!

I have a singer also and purchased a walking foot from JoAnn's that did not fit. You can order them from the singer site for just about the same price.
