Please Recommend A Good Book On Civil War Quilts With Patterns

I'm planning a simple quilt using a civil war block and reproduction fabrics. If you have a book about civil war quilts with block patterns that you love, please tell me about it. Thanks.

Barbara brackman has a number of them.....just look on Kindle or Amazon.

Thank you. I found Barbara Brackman on Amazon. I also bought "Civil War Sewing Circle" by Kathleen Turner for the Union Stars quilt pattern.

But if anyone has anything else they want to recommend, please feel free.

Many of the civil war quilts out today use various simple blocks but with the reproduction fabrics. Many of the simpler blocks around today, and being toted as "new" by designers, have been around since before the civil war. Ok, off my soapbox.

My favorite book is The Civil War Diary Quilt. Great stories and quilt blocks that are easy. I made the Civil War Tribute Quilt by Bonnie Blue Quilts for my sister who is a Civil War buff. I still have the pattern and if you like it you are welcome to it. I also have Union Generals 1861-1865 and I have the panel that goes with it. Again, if you like it you are welcome to it. Just send me a PM. Pat.

Here's my sisters quilt.

Kaye England has a good class on craftsy. She's the history of the blocks. Download all the patterns.
