I'm with everyone else on it being printed. Can you find out where she got the picture and what is there she likes about the picture? Print in the fabrics, color, embroidery?? Maybe if she was mopre specific you could figure out what would make her happy. My DIL saw a quilt she likes, all Blue Willow prints but with a giant peacock, I could not find that darn peacock. Luckily, she didn't particularly like the peacock after I told her I couldn't find it. She just likes blue and white, LOL!!

it looks to me like the white "blocks" were appliqued on when the whole quilt was put together.

Could it be a turning twenty with the red work blocks appliquéd on before quilting?

I never thought of printed fabric, but it makes sense. Thank you all for your comments ... you are the best!!:D

I agree! Turning 20 with a little flare = happy.

I agree that it's a printed top. Usually department store quilts like that come with pillow shams, too, as does this one. And I suspect, along with everyone else, that a similar pattern with the same colors and feel would be exactly what she wants. Should be easy to do---just don't plan any Y seams into it.

It seems that everyone is in agreement that this is a printed fabric and Turning Twenty is the best quilt pattern to make this quilt. Good luck! Please keep up posted.

Try this http://www.facebook.com/pages/Faerie...ation=timeline. I think the idea of the fairy pics on a quilt look very similar to your pattern. It is a shop or something I think. May be able to help.

Sit down with pencil and paper and make up your own pattern...Good Luck....

I agree - think this pattern would really work, substituting in redwork squares/rectangles. In her colors, it would be awesome!
