A poem for Quilters!!!! I found it today under Quilters Poems
The Deadline T'was the night before Christmas before the quilt show and at the sewing machine; was the biggest organized clutter, that you have ever seen. There was fabric on the table. Fabric on the chair, Fabric on the floor, There was fabric everywhere. I couldn't find my rotary cutter, couldn't find my mat couldn't find my scissors, And I'm wondering where they're at. It's an hour before the show Than I'll get up and leave. All ineed is a few more stiches, the binding.....and the sleeve. But i'm not about to worry, Everything is going to be fine. I'll get it done in time--But, I really hate a deadline. Author: Dallas Reed Happy holidays to all the Quilters!!!! Bebe |

Not going to a quilting show...but my sewing areas are a mess LOL
Thanks for bringing this one back this year, too!!! |
Not worried about a quilting show, just to have them done for Christmas morning! LOL! Great poem!

That's me. I hate deadlines too.

I love that poem!!! And ditto for here, although not for a quilting show. I have two birthday quilts to start & finish in about 3 weeks! Plus I'm also making two of the kids hand/foot print Moose wallhangings at the same time! At least one wallhanging is almost done. Right now it's overwhelming, and I've not even gone in my room for the last several days.
