To the Point
 

Once again, I'm trying to follow something on Pinterest to make an easy toddler quilt. Every avenue I follow tells me "hmmm...can't find this page". I'm told this is a free tutorial and pattern by Amy Gibson of Stitchery Dickory Dock named "To the Point". It's an easy pattern and I should be able to do it without this tutorial, but the more birthdays I have, the easier it is for me to have instructions in front of me. If someone can find this and tell me the basic instructions I'd be so happy.

I'm clueless when it comes to using Pinterest or blogs. I used to have better luck with Pinterest, but now I always get the not found result.

What a cute quilt. Janey, you are a sleuth extraordinaire!! The pictures do help explain the tutorial. Definitely another one for the charity quilt file. I do have 2 shoe boxes full of 2.5 inch strips so this might get made sooner rather than later.

I've made ones like this, using string blocks I've split on the diagonal. easy peasy, make any size block you want, and use any pattern that uses 1/2 square triangles. The world is your oyster :)

That's really cute, Linda. It looks like just half square triangles. A fun quilt for a little one.

I'm a rare bird I think. I don't use Pinterest for a couple of reasons. One is it's too "busy" for me.
Another is that whenever I did use it the links took me nowhere!

Pinterest used to be awesome, a visual bookmarking tool of sorts. Then it got corrupted with ads and people hijacking content.

when I do searches I include -pinterest
totally useless website in my opinion.

Great pattern ... so many possibilities for variations.
Would also be nice done with narrower strips, too.

Can't wait to see what all of you create and soon will be posting.
